TEFA stands for Texas Education Freedom Accounts. New Light Educators is a TEFA-approved educational service provider and a vendor on the Odyssey Marketplace.
Two pathways
How families pay
Using TEFA funds
Eligible families can use available TEFA funds. NLE offers approved services through the Odyssey Marketplace. Because there are multiple approved options there, we guide you to the appropriate course or service for your student before you complete the purchase.
Paying directly
Direct-pay enrollment is open whether or not your student is eligible for TEFA funding. NLE provides instructions for completing payment for the selected program.

When payment happens
Payment comes after your phone consultation and after you have reviewed the schedule, program details, and fees. Enrollment is not finalized until the program and schedule are agreed upon and payment is received.
