About us
About
Who we are, what we believe, and how our programs are built.
Who we are
New Light Educators is a registered educational services agency in Dallas County, Texas, serving students in Grades 6–8. We are a TEFA-approved educational service provider and a vendor on the Odyssey Marketplace.
Our programs are led by Texas- and New Jersey-certified educators. Families who are not using TEFA funds are also welcome to enroll and pay directly.
Our philosophy
Education is the right of every individual, and families should be free to choose the learning format that best meets their needs.
01
Collaborative groups
Some students thrive in group settings.
02
Independent learning
Others are more focused and productive working on their own.
03
A blend of both
Many benefit from a combination.
How our programs are built
Our curriculum comes from more than 15 years of teaching and tutoring experience. Rather than relying on one curriculum, we select resources from trusted educational sources and paid academic platforms to match each student’s grade level, needs, and progress.
Flexibility offers different pathways to success without lowering academic expectations.
Where we are headed
We prepare students for challenging high school courses and future college-level coursework, including Dual Credit opportunities, by strengthening:
- Academic knowledge and study habits
- Critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
- Confidence
