What is the difference between the programs?

The Complete Homeschool Program includes all four core subjects in small same-gender groups with quarterly report cards. Small-group tutoring offers Math, ELA, or both in groups placed by skill level. One-to-one tutoring is individualized to the student’s pace. See the full comparison on the Programs page.

Teacher-led instruction in small groups formed by academic skill level and need, with differentiated instruction.

How does one-to-one tutoring work?

Direct instruction tailored to the student’s level and pace, with added challenge or added support as needed.

Are classes mixed-gender?

No. Our learning groups are same-gender.

How do I choose a program?

Your phone consultation covers your student’s needs, goals, and the available programs, and helps with group placement and scheduling.

Enrollment

How does enrollment work?

Seven steps: submit an inquiry, phone consultation, discuss your student’s needs, confirm program and availability, review and confirm, complete payment, and begin classes. See the Enroll page for details.

What happens after I submit an inquiry?

We contact you to arrange a phone consultation.

How quickly will NLE contact me?

Please allow up to 48 business hours. The office is closed on weekends.

What happens during the phone consultation?

We learn about academic needs, goals, learning preferences, the type of support needed, available programs, group placement, and scheduling.

How are schedules confirmed?

Once we agree a program is a good fit and space is available, we provide the complete class schedule and details. Enrollment is not finalized until the program and schedule are agreed upon and payment is received.

TEFA & payment

How does TEFA work?

NLE is a TEFA-approved provider. Eligible families can use available TEFA funds for approved services through the Odyssey Marketplace.

How does the Odyssey Marketplace process work?

NLE offers multiple approved options there, so we guide your family to the appropriate course or service for your student before you complete the purchase.

Can I pay directly?
